Project Overview

Futures Education & Training is a WA-based RTO built around a simple idea — training that actually prepares people for work, not just assessment. Designed in partnership with industry, they deliver accredited programs across corporate, community, and employment sectors.

When we came on board, Futures had the right intentions but a brand that wasn't doing the work. Compliance-heavy messaging, limited differentiation, and a visual identity without strategic direction. They needed clarity before they could scale.

Objectives
  • Reposition Futures as an industry-designed, outcome-focused training provider
  • Carve out a distinct identity in the WA RTO market
  • Separate the brand from their sister company, Youth Futures
  • Strengthen credibility with both employers and learners
  • Align brand, messaging, and identity with their workforce readiness mission

Scope of Work
  1. Brand Strategy — Facilitated strategic workshops to uncover positioning, purpose, and real points of difference. Conducted competitor and market analysis across the WA RTO landscape.
  2. Positioning and Messaging — Shifted the narrative from completion-focused to outcomes-led. Defined a clear positioning statement and unique value proposition.
  3. Visual Identity — Developed a refined identity built around readiness and progression, including logo, tagline, iconography, colour palette, and photography direction.
  4. TaglineBuilt for what's next.
  5. Digital and Social — Developed the website with human and outcome-focused design, colour and icon-coded course categories, and a consistent social media presence.

The Outcome

Futures now presents as a confident, industry-aligned training provider with a brand foundation built to grow. Employer conversations are stronger. The identity is cohesive and distinct. And the team has something they're genuinely proud to put in front of people.
