Project Overview

Youth Futures WA has been supporting vulnerable young people in Western Australia for over 40 years. They provide crisis accommodation, alternative education, mental health support, and vocational training to young people who have nowhere else to turn. The work is serious, consistent, and genuinely life-changing.

The brand wasn't keeping pace with any of that.

A fragmented identity, inconsistent messaging across service areas, and no clear visual system made it hard for donors, partners, and the community to understand the full scope of what Youth Futures does and why it matters. For an organisation asking people to trust them with vulnerable young lives and charitable dollars, that gap had real consequences.

Objectives
  • Build a brand strategy that reflected the depth and breadth of the organisation
  • Create a cohesive visual identity with a system that worked across three distinct service pillars
  • Give every program, campaign, and platform a consistent and credible presence
  • Strengthen donor confidence and community engagement through clearer communication
  • Equip the team with tools they could own and use independently
Scope of Work
  1. Brand Strategy - Developed the strategic foundation, including positioning, purpose, brand voice, and audience framing across donor, partner, and service user audiences.
  2. Brand Identity - Created a refreshed visual identity system built for a not-for-profit operating across complex and sensitive service areas.
  3. Sub-brand System - Designed a structured brand architecture across the three service pillars: Homelessness Services, Education and Training, and Support and Wellbeing. Each pillar has its own identity that connects clearly back to the parent brand.
  4. Brand Rollout - Applied the identity across the full organisation including environmental signage, event branding, annual reports, education booklets, and email marketing. Every touchpoint, covered.
  5. Social Media Templates - Built a suite of social media templates that gave the internal team a consistent, on-brand toolkit for ongoing content.
  6. Digital Ad Campaigns - Planned and ran targeted digital campaigns for Homelessness Week, the EOFY donation appeal, and the Christmas Appeal. Campaigns designed to move people from awareness to action. Online Campaing
What Youth Futures Has Achieved

We are proud to support an organisation doing work that genuinely matters. In 2024 alone, Youth Futures provided over 17,808 nights of safe sleep, supported 250 young people through homelessness services, held 356 one-to-one wellbeing sessions, delivered 1,500 literacy support sessions, and engaged 350 students across their CARE Schools.  

In 2025,  Youth Futures is celebrating 40 years of making futures brighter. We are proud to have helped tell that story in a way that does justice to everything they have built.
